The Future Business Leaders of America organization participated in the competitive events program by attending the KS-FBLA District 7 Conference at Washburn University on Wednesday, January 29th. Members competed in a broad range of business and career-related areas. Competitive events allow members to experience career, academic, and leadership development.

Just a Reminder.....As we are expecting our first round of severe winter weather this upcoming weekend. If school is cancelled due to weather or there is a severe storm over the weekend, there are to be NO practices or activities in either of the gyms or school. This includes any team: School, Club/Competitive/Recreation, etc. Please help us by being safe and staying home during severe weather! Thank You!
The Junior High Quiz Bowl season is starting soon! The first practice will be on Tuesday, January 7th, at 7:30 a.m. in Mr. Salyers's classroom. Burlingame FBLA was chosen by the KS FBLA State Board as November Chapter of the Month based on an application submitted of the activities done during the month! Congratulations to our chapter and school.

FAFSA Completion Event is on Thursday, December 12th from 6:00-7:00pm in the commons.
A financial aid specialist from Washburn University will be on hand to help and answer questions. Just bring your laptop and have your FSA IDs created at least 3 days prior.
Just a reminder that our Fall Athletic Awards Night is on December 2nd at 6:00pm in the HS gym.
Varsity Scholars Bowl placed 2nd at the Madison league meet. This meet consisted of Madison, Lebo, and Olpe. Liam B. claimed the win for us with the getting tie breaker question: "you have to break a few eggs to make a what according to the idiom". Liam answered "omelet" to get the win over Madison.
