USD #454 will dismiss school at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. The Lady Cats volleyball team will host regionals beginning at 4:00pm.

Senior Class of 2025 is hosting a Junior High Halloween Dance on October 24th 8:30pm-10:30pm. Students can pick up a form in the JH/HS Office.

HS Basketball Jamboree has been moved to October 26th TBA----(Originally scheduled on Oct 21st)
HS Basketball Game @ West Elk(Varsity Only) has been moved to February 13th 5:00pm---- (Originally scheduled on Feb 14th)
Reminder- Reality University is this Thursday at Waverly. 8th Graders will leave the school at 7:45 a.m. Students will need to be here no later than 7:35am. 10th graders will leave the school at 11:15pm. If your student has not turned in their permission slip, they need to get it turned into Ms. Zeller or Ms. Lockwood ASAP.

Due to a scheduling conflict with our seniors that attend Washburn Tech, Senior Composites have been moved to Tuesday October 15th at 9:30am @ Melvern.
The Burlingame Future Business Leaders of America organization seeks sponsorship from local businesses, organizations, and individuals to help offset student costs for participating in FBLA activities. Those who sponsor FBLA will have their business/organization names on the back of the FBLA chapter shirts.
SPONSORSHIP LEVELS
Level 1 sponsorship costs $50, and your business/organization name will be printed on the back of the shirts.
Level 2 sponsorship costs $75, and your business/organization logo will be on the back of the shirts.

Entrances:
● Football: We have construction on the West side of the school, therefore, there will be
only one entrance to the football field which is on the East side of the parking lot.
○ This is dependent on the weather. If it is inclement weather, patrons will walk to the football field
from the parking lot. Updates will be available as soon as possible.
○ Bring Lawn Chairs for seating however some like to sit on their pickup beds or cars.
Patron Seating:
● Visitor stands are located on the East side of the football field.

USD 454 is seeking a substitute food service employee. Daily work when contacted. Four to six hours per day when needed. Potential duties include food prep, serving, and daily cleaning/maintenance of assigned areas. Applications available at usd454.net or USD 454 District Office.

The JUNIOR CLASS ( Class of 2026) is raising money for Prom through a CANDLE FUNDRAISER. The products are being made locally here in Burlingame by Triple Q Candle Co., purchasing helps support prom and a local business!!
Candles, Wax Melts, and Room sprays are available to purchase.

All 6th-12th grade athletes are required to watch the mandatory KSHSAA concussion video before they are allowed to practice. This must be completed before August 19th. The athletes that missed watching the video during summer weights will have the opportunity to stay after school tomorrow to watch the video in Mrs. Tyson 's room 3:30-4:30pm.
Also just a reminder all physical forms must be completed and turned in by Monday August 19th in order to practice.
