**Calendar Changes**
Tonight's HS JV Football game @ MDCV has been postponed to next Monday September 11th. The game will be played HERE in Burlingame starting at 5:00pm
The HS JV Football game against Lebo has been CANCELLED due to Lebo not having enough players.

Tomorrow Nights Home Game vs MDCV
We are asking for Sports Drinks Donations for our JH/HS Boys and Girls Athletes. Due to the cancellation of Burlingame Night Lights, we weren't able to provide this to our athletes. Thank You for donating!! FILL THE TRUCK!!
Reminder the annual Fall Sports Burger Feed is next Wednesday August 30th at the park starting at 6:00pm. Special Thanks to the Burlingame Chamber for sponsoring this event. This is for all fall sports players, managers, and coaches.
**Football Jamboree Time Change**
Due to the heat the start time for the HS Football Jamboree on Friday August 25th in Herington has been pushed back again. It will now start at 8:00pm.
Due to expected Heat and Temperatures, we will be canceling this years Burlingame Night Lights. We are still asking for Sports Drink donations, we will set the truck out at the first Home Football Game on September 1st. All Football and volleyball scrimmages will be canceled at Burlingame Night Lights.
If you are attending the HS Volleyball Jamboree tomorrow night...Please park in the northeast parking lot and come in the Elementary School doors. There will be a concession stand and there will be NO gate fee to get in.
**Time Change**
The start time for the HS Football Game at Hartford on September 15th has been changed to 7:30pm
**Calendar Addition September 12th**
We have added a Junior High Volleyball Game Here vs Kickapoo Nation on September 12th starting at 5:00pm. This will be JH Varsity Only.
High School Volleyball will follow after the JH game. This will be HS JV Only.

Secondary Schedules are now completed and ready to view. Students will be receiving a link to the Schedule Change Request Form later today. Please use that form for any schedule change request.

August 1st-4th
9am Intro to Pep Band: 6th/7th Grade
10am Intro to Drumline: 6th-8th Grade
11am Pep Band: 9th-12th (6th-12th Last Day of camp)
12-2pm Drumline: 9th-12th (6th-12th Last Day of camp)
*Snacks are provided and T-shirts for those who signed up last school year.*
**Additional Back to School Information**
Individual class schedules for grades 6th-12th will be distributed at enrollment.
Football season is right around the corner! We love Purple Fridays in Burlingame, so get your 2023 Game Day Shirt and Bearcat Gear to rep the Bearcats. All proceeds will go towards 2023 Burlingame Football Team Meals. We appreciate your support!

ORCHESTRA CAMP Dates: July 25th, 26th, 27th
Times:
Beginners with no experience: 2-3 PM; open to all interested beginners in 4th-12th grades.
Parents are encouraged to attend the first meeting if possible.
Experienced Students (either at Burlingame or elsewhere) 4-5 PM; open to all students in 5th-12th who have previously played violin. Students in this group will have the opportunity to play the cello in addition to the violin if interested.
Purchase, rental, and limited scholarships are available for those who do not yet have a violin.
Please see below for an opportunity for purchasing a violin as well as books, rosin, etc. There are reasonably priced, good quality student violins that can be purchased online for as low as $200. Please see Ms. Noll for more information.

We are excited to share with you KEEP – the Kansas Education Enrichment Program which provides students from income-qualifying households a $1,000 to spend on eligible goods and services that promote learning and facilitate academic enrichment opportunities. Families are invited to apply for these funds at www.keep.ks.gov. There is no cost to apply or participate in the program, and parents and guardians can enroll multiple students in the household. Current income guidelines can be found on the KEEP website. Families can spend the funds with Qualified Education Service Providers in the online KEEP Marketplace. Approved goods and services include: Camps with academic subjects, Language classes, Instrument and Vocal lessons, including instrument purchase or rental. Tutoring Services. and Curriculum materials, school supplies, and technology. Families that receive awards can manage their funds through the KEEP app, available in apps stores for both Android and IOS. The program is provided by the State of Kansas and funded by the American Rescue Plan Act. Funds are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. We encourage you to visit www.keep.ks.gov to learn more about the program and apply today.
Parents are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions.
