The Future Business Leaders of America club (junior high and high school chapters) traveled to Washburn University to compete at the Kansas FBLA District 7 conference. These students competed in objective tests, speaking events, and role-play presentations. Results from the conference will be posted once released.
**Date Change**
The Junior High Wrestling meet at Herington has been changed to Thursday February 15th starting at 3:00pm. It was originally scheduled for Monday February 19th.
**Attention Seniors and Senior Parents**
FAFSA Completion night will be Thursday, February 8th from 6:00pm-7:00pm in the commons area. Students will need to complete their FSA ID by February 1st in order to make the process go smoothly. An email was sent to all seniors and senior parents with information on how to complete the FSA ID as well as what documents will be needed the complete the FAFSA application. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday February 8th.

The High School Basketball games vs Hartford will be played as scheduled this evening. Girls Varsity will start at 6:00 and the Boys Varsity will follow.
Tomorrow the Junior High Basketball teams will play @ Waverly.
Girls at 9:00 AM
Boys at 10:15 AM for 3rd place in the LCL tournament.
High School wrestling will be @ Holton at 9:00 AM.

The HS Basketball game @ West Franklin on Friday, February 16th will start at 4:00pm. The schedule will be as follows: 3 quarters of JV girls, followed by 2 quarters of JV boys, followed by varsity girls, then varsity boys. All games will be played in one gym.

The USD 454 Board of Education meeting postponed 1/10/2024 due to weather has been rescheduled to 1/22/2024 at 6 pm.

Due to the continuing lowering temperatures, dangerous wind chills, and continued problems caused by snow drifts, the Burlingame Administration has decided to cancel the JH Basketball games at Olpe and the HS Basketball games vs Hartford at home on January 13th. We are working with each of the schools to reschedule. Thank you.
